SDE Subsidy (Stimulation of Sustainable Energy Production) is there to lower the threshold to become sustainable. The investment is large, therefore it is nice to receive compensation from the government for this. If a customer applies for solar panels, we can also use this to apply for the subsidy for the customer. Grant applications cannot be made throughout the year. Mostly opens the application round at the beginning of summer and lasts for a month. The customer has 1.5 to 3 years, once the application is approved, to install the solar panels. If this does not happen, the application expires. Note: SDE subsidy is only available to entrepreneurs with a wholesale connection.
