Can you talk briefly about Forum Sport?
Forum Sport is a Saturday soccer club in Voorburg and has approximately 1,300 members. This makes Forum Sport one of the largest soccer clubs in the region of The Hague. Forum Sport is the club for both performance-oriented and recreational soccer players in all age groups. Among other things, we are proud of the familiar and friendly character of our club, our youth training (24th place of approximately 3,000 amateur soccer clubs in the Netherlands) and our strong and growing ladies branch.
Members train and play matches in the heart of Voorburg at the centrally located Soccer Park ‘t Loo, which has three artificial turf fields, two natural grass fields and two separate fields for the youngest youth. Of the seven fields, four are floodlit.
Why did you partner with EAB Excellent?
The partnership began many years ago, long before the energy contract became a distinguished conversation in the living room. A large soccer club has a large energy demand. Think lighting during evening practices (especially before we had LED lighting), electricity for the hospitality area (coolers) and energy for hot water for showering.
As a result, we traditionally had multiple and relatively heavy connections. EAB Excellent guided us in how to manage that optimally and cost-effectively. Also, we were already part of their multi-year energy collective when the price for energy was still relatively low, which helped us a lot when prices exploded. This saved us from financial headaches.
How do you experience cooperation and our services?
EAB is good and easy to approach, even if you have a simple question as a layman. Because of their size and smart purchasing, they can give a competitive price to their customers.
Do you have any tips for EAB Excellent to work even better together and improve services?
Not right now, perhaps in the future.
