Can you talk briefly about Bakker Klink?
Bakker Klink has been around for 229 years and is in the top 10 oldest bakers in the Netherlands! Since 1612 the oven has been fired up in the Herenstraat in Voorburg. Back then, it was still fired with bundles of branches and basically anything that could burn. In 1795 the Klink family took over the bakery and it remained in their possession until 1920. Meanwhile, the oven is still fired up every evening on Herenstraat. Bakker Klink has since grown into a business with eight stores in Voorburg, Leidschendam and The Hague.
Why did you partner with EAB Excellent?
Whereas in the past energy was a standard “thingy” and you didn’t really have to worry about it, that has changed greatly in recent years. The energy transition in the Netherlands and the geopolitical situation make the energy market grim. As an entrepreneur, I want to be busy with my customer, employee, store and my product, and not with peripheral issues that, especially in the case of energy, I don’t understand. Do what you are good at and outsource other things. EAB Excellent understands the business and takes care of this for me.
